Checked out 2 dogs in 3 days. Adopted 1 dog. So far they are very structured in their adoption. We ended up adopting a stray from them that stole our hearts.
These guys are THE BEST! Their facility is super clean AND climate controlled for the animals. PLEASE pay them avisit and adopt a dog or cat. You'll have unconditional love forever....and wet doggie kisses too!
I complained on their Facebook page, but they deleted it, so that’s why I will post it on here. First of all, the workers that actually work with the animals in the kennels were nice and friendly, but the dispatchers and one of a supervisor were terrible at customer service and hate to answering questions. We were fostering to adopt 2 puppies for almost a month. We paid for the puppies food, crates, dogs’ houses, treats, and toys. So, we wanted the pups to get all their first shot of each vaccine done from the shelter and get neutered before we signed the adoption. I had to keep complaining in order to get all these things done as it states on their website, so that I can fully adopt the puppies! When we had questions, the front workers seemed like they don’t want to do their jobs, don’t want to look up for the information that I asked for. The workers, that talked to me on the phone, talked with attitude and talked over me. First, I had stopped myself from talking and let them talk, when they were done talking, it was my time to talk but they didn’t let me finish my sentences because they couldn’t handle it, I caught them laying and I called them out right in their face when they were rude to me. They got really mad when I talked to them the same way they talked to me. They said it was a waste of time answer my questions and told me to send the dogs back to them. They do not care of about the dogs. I just don’t understand why can’t they just be nice at work or stay home with that attitude. Right now, we adopted 2 puppies because we love the boys. The dispatchers and their supervisor treated us like they owned this organization themselves. More animals would be adopted if the shelter did not have these rude staffs. My advice to for them here: Give the adopters and foster parents respect first, and then you will get it back!!! Remember you do this job to help the animals, so drop your attitude.
The folks at the front desk were kind and helpful in making me understand the process of taking a lost dog in. The lobby was very clean and facility looked well kept.
This place is amazing. Found a dog that was friendly and missing his family. This was the only facility that was willing to listen and take him in and try to find their owner. Thank you for taking care of our 4 legged friends.
I think they are great but no one answers the dang phone or texts. Best luck is going in person.
Fresno Humane is wonderful. Great place to bring stray animals. Staff is good. I highly recommend coming here over Airways. There are lots of animals here that need quality time. You can volunteer in either laundry, one-on-one or enrichment.
I have been trying to foster a dog I found. I saw the dog on the website as adoptable. I have called numerous times an texted sevral times and left messages on the website and not one RESPONCE! I would think they would want to get the dog to a loving home rather than hold it! PLEASE contact me and answer your phones staff seemed a bit lazy at the phones when I went!
